Company Spotlight: BRIO Toys

Wooden toys and toys with wooden accents are my favorite! I will always pick - for my children and as gifts - wooden toys over any other kind, their quality is far superior. With 3 kids, I have to make sure that toys last and can be passed on though out the years.

This Easter, we gave the kids toys from BRIO. The BRIO has been creating quality products since the end of the 1800s, they have successfully combined innovation with craftsmanship. BRIO toys carry recognize the magic of play, and support children’s growth and development in a safe way. All while making life more enjoyable for parents.

BRIO was founded in 1884 in Osby, a small town located in southern Sweden. Today, the small family-run business has grown into the global company with subsidiaries in Germany, France and Japan and distributors around the world. BRIO's product catalog currently consists of numerous toys and games for the whole family under the brand Alga.

For Easter, Jack got Countryside Horse Set, Dylan a Remote Control Travel Train, and Lucia got Motion Wobbler

The great thing about BRIO toys that they can be used separately or together as add ons. The boys love setting up the railway and controlling the remote control and motorized trains. Almost every morning, Dylan heads to the playroom and bulls the BRIO box and starts everything up setting up - with big brother's help.

Lucia is still too young to join in - although she tries! Her new Wobbler is helping her develop and master new skills every day.
