Free To You - Children's Workshops - Home Depot Review

You might remember my Free To You - Children's Workshops post from last month, today I wanted to share a quick update about Jack's first Home Depot workshop. The theme was inspired by the movie Despicable Me 2 and the kids put together and painted Lucy's car.

I did not attend this workshop but Brad liked it better than the Lowe's clinic. The children had a place to sit and were not only given an apron and pin (upon completion) - very similar to Lowe's- they were also given fruit snacks and juice.

While Home Depot seems to have a few more perks, both free workshops are wonderful and offer children the opportunity to learn while having fun. If you are looking for a great activity to share with your kids this summer, make sure you check out your local Home Depot and Lowe's to register for upcoming clinics.

  1. Sounds like you had a blast! I've enrolled my kids to one of these home depot workshops before and they really enjoyed the time they spent there as well. They even helped out in our apartments in San Diego.
