Learning: A E I O U

Some of you might know that I'm Peruvian and that Jack is growing up as a bilingual child. Including my traditions and heritage in his upbringing is extremely important for my husband and myself. I only speak Spanish to him unless we are with group of people - I don't want to be rude to others that don't speak the language. I have recently starting teaching him colors and numbers in Spanish using YouTube videos. We put a hold on those "lessons" when we discovered this video from Cantando Aprendo a Hablar, Jack is absolutely obsessed with it.

"Sing a e i o u" (vowels)

We've been watching it non stop for the past 4 days! While he doesn't really know what he's saying yet and he's simply memorizing and repeating the sounds of the vowels, I think it's pretty cool how much he's already learning. We've created our own {shorter} version of the song above and I was able to record some of it this Saturday.

A few things to note:
1. My voice is super loud (you might want to turn your volume down).
2. I'm obviously not the best singer.
3. I hate it when Jack stops doing something cute as soon as he sees the camera.

And thanks to YouTube, I'm also excited to be able to share my own favorite  childhood songs and shows with Jack!
