Our days start at around 8:00am when I hear Jack through the video monitor. I get up and head to the kitchen to get his morning bottle ready. I see this sweet face every morning. Jack is a super happy baby, he's never grumpy in the morning - like myself!
After changing his diaper, we head back to my room and cuddle while he drinks his bottle.
At around 9:00, Jack has breakfast. On this day, he had pancakes and a banana. After breakfast we head back to Jack's room for some playtime.
Around 10:30 Jack goes down for a nap. This gives me about 2-3 hours to get things done around the house. This morning, I got some blogs posts done, checked Facebook, organized my closet and folded 3 loads of laundry!
Jack gets up from his nap at around 2pm. He has a late lunch - homemade mac-n-cheese, chicken nuggets and his favorite - YoBaby banana yogurt.
At 3pm we make a quick trip to Target. I needed to get pacifier wipes, snacks and supplies for a DIY project I'm working on. We usually try to get out of the house at least once a day. Sometimes it's to the park, the grocery store, the mall or to lunch with friends.
At 4:30 Jack goes down for his afternoon nap and it gives me some time to hang out with my sweet Nico and watch Dr. Phil.
Jack wakes up at around 5:30 - just in time for dinner. He had a peanut butter sandwich, some cheddar cheese and apples for dessert.
We head back to his room for some more playtime. At 6:30 Daddy gets home and I get to relax before Jack's bedtime routine starts.
By 7:00pm Jack has had his bath and is ready for his night bottle. It's time for my little angel to go to sleep. At 7:30pm he is down for the night.
Around 8pm Brad and I have dinner while watching TV. By 10pm I'm in bed winding down and reading some magazines.
And there you have it, our typical day!

ReplyDeleteWow- he sleeps that much?! Luck gal! Wyatt thinks it's cool to skip his afternoon naps lately- and he has trouble going to sleep at night too! He just fights it off! We're going to start a new routine this week- hopefully it works!
