Based in Charleston, South Carolina, my friend Jenny recently started selling her adorable children bow ties and hair bows as well as free style adult bow ties in her Etsy shop Handmade by Gigi.
I come from a long line of women who are crafty with fabric and other mediums making sewing feel like I am in a natural element. Being laid off from a job that I loved in February 2012 was motivation to take this new hobby to the internet as a way to bring in money to my family.
Jenny was kind enough to make two bow ties for Jack - you know how much I love bow ties - and I couldn't wait for them to arrive. Her adjustable bow ties are ideal for toddles since they are nearly impossible to yank off unlike clip only bow ties. They are made to fit children 2-15 and feature a safety clasp. Jenny only uses the best quality fabrics and if you don't see something listed, contact her and she will work with you to create the perfect piece.
