Fall Cooking: Easy & Delicious Part II

We are continuing our Johnsonville fall cooking series with another easy and delicious recipe. This time we are sharing a super tasty recipe including hot Italian sausage, so if you like a little bit of heat, then this recipe is for you!


INGREDIENTS 
1 package Johnsonville hot Italian sausage sliced
1 red bell pepper, diced 
1 yellow bell pepper, diced 
1 onion, diced 
2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
Olive oil 
Salt 
Pepper


DIRECTIONS
In a heavy bottomed skillet heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium/high heat. Add potatoes to the skillet  season with salt and pepper to taste. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. In a separate skillet, brown the sliced Italian sausage for about 5 minutes over medium/high heat. Remove the sausage from the pan and set aside. After they set for about 10 minutes, slice them.   Add peppers and onions to the skillet and season. Cook for 5 minutes, or until softened, stirring occasionally. Combine the cooked potatoes and hot Italian sausage with the onions and peppers. Mix everything together for about 5 minutes more.
