If you follow me on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, you probably already know what we are expecting baby number 3. Our baby is due this September and we recently found out we are a having a girl!
For the next couple of weeks I'll be sharing my favorite pregnancy products for myself and products for our new baby arriving this fall. We are kicking off this week with four brands, three are new to me and one is an old time favorite.
I've been using Mumsie natural products since my first trimester and my skin has felt and looked better. Mumsie is a new, natural and organic skin care line formulated specifically for pre and postpartum women offering safe, effective ways to deal with pregnancy related skin problems.
Produced in a 100% solar-powered facility in Southern California and affordably priced, Mumsie products include the first ever acne-cleansing facial wash that is both salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide free, making it safe for mom and baby. The line also includes a stretch mark relief oil that combines innovative ingredients such as avocado oil, jojoba seed oil and vanilla bean extract into an effective stretch mark-relieving blend that rejuvenates skin cells, improves elasticity, encourages healing and protects against future skin damage. Also available is their stretch mark relief cream made with organic avocado oil, shea, cocoa and mango seed butter. Designed to prevent and reduce the appearance of stretch marks, improve skin elasticity, tone, texture, and discoloration before, during, and after pregnancy.
Next on today's round out is Anchor & Adorn, a new online boutique that specializes in handcrafted, modern baby goods and accessories. Their collection includes unique and one-of-a-kind blankets, bibs, nursery decor and items for mama's too!
Check out this handmade bib. With a plastic snap closure and featuring soft cotton and an absorbent pink flannel backing, this machine washable bib is functional and adorable.
Handcrafted using organic maple hardwood, their teething rings are hand brushed with organic beeswax and olive oil and are available in a multitude of unique and fun patterns.
buttermilk babies is not your typical swaddle company, their soft swaddles features the most unique patterns to wrap your little ones in. buttermilk babies uses a special blend of cotton and bamboo rayon to create super soft swaddles that won’t irritate even the butter-milkiest of skin. Their introductory collection is offered in sets of four and includes a signature series, which includes prints in Zoonicorns, Gemstones, Knuckle Sandwiches and Graffiti. Also available is their Tough Cookie set - my favorite - with fun prints in Hoboglyphs, Knuckle Sandwiches, Flies and Little Stinkers!
Each set is available in several color options, ranging from crisp black and white, to bold turquoise and cobalt and soothing pink and lilac. I've already decided that baby girl will be wrapped in one of these wraps as soon as she's born.
Last but certainly not least is a company that I've been using and have trusted for years. Dr. Brown's has recently added a few new products to their extensive collection of baby items including a variety of pacifiers to help soothe your baby. Their silicone pacifiers have the same shape as the Dr. Brown’s Standard nipple and were designed by a pediatric dentist and features a Patented Suction-Free Air Channel which opens up as baby sucks for low pressure comfort.
Also new to the Dr. Brown's rage are natural baby wipes including:
- Tooth & gum
- Nose & face
- Pacifier & bottle
Dr. Brown's has also introduced three types of training cups for older babies (not pictured). These BPA free cups aim to help baby make the easy transition from bottle to cup. Select from their Soft Spout Transition Cup with a spill-proof silicone spout valve and an attached lid, their durable and lightweight Hard Spout Insulated Cup designed to keep drinks fresh and cool or their Soft Spout Cup with removable lid and handles.
Next Friday I'll sharing more products that I'm currently loving. Stay tuned!
