Now that fall is almost here, I wanted to find an activity that Jack and I could do together indoors. I signed us up for a parent and tot gymnastics class. The class is small - only 3 children, two girls and Jack.
The parent & tot programs is open to boys and girls ages 18 months to 30 months and serves as an introduction to developmental gymnastics.

The gym has a separate building specifically designated for children 18 months to 4 year olds. The room provides a safe, productive learning environment that is developmentally appropriate for this age group.
The class starts with a quick welcome song and a "warm up". The first 15 minutes of the class considered free time and the kids to use any of the equipment available.
Already easily distracted ;)
The last 15 minutes of the class, the kids work with their "coach" and parent's on an specific obstacle course. The class is designed to enhance body awareness, balance, coordination, strength and self confidence, while developing character, listening and social skills.

Jack and I had an amazing time, he ran, he jumped, he played! Our classes are every friday from 11:30-12 noon and he comes straight home ready for a nap.
Good bye song.
What fall/winter classes or activities do you have planned for your little ones this year? I would love to hear what they are!
